We just hit a milestone at Chicago Boudoir Photography that feels pretty incredible: more than 170 five-star reviews on Google.
More than one hundred and seventy women took the time after their boudoir experience to share their thoughts and give our studio five stars. That means so much to me.
Since I began specializing in boudoir photography in 2011, I’ve photographed more than 2,000 women of different ages, sizes, backgrounds and comfort levels.
Some walk into our studio feeling excited and ready to go. Plenty of others walk in feeling nervous and wondering what on earth they signed themselves up for.
That second group might actually be my favorite.

There’s a misconception that women book boudoir photography because they already feel amazing about their bodies.
Sometimes they do. But sometimes they book because they want to feel that way.
Women come to our Chicago-area boudoir studio to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and weddings. They come after major life changes. They come because their bodies have changed. They come because they want to see themselves differently.
And sometimes they don’t need a reason at all.
You don't have to lose weight first. You don't need modeling experience. You don't need to know how to pose. And you definitely don't need to walk through the door overflowing with confidence.

We actually don't expect you to! You don’t have to know what you’re doing to book a boudoir photoshoot!
None of the women you see in our portfolio are professional models. They are regular women who walked into the studio and let us guide them through the entire experience.
During your boudoir session, I show you exactly what to do, from where to put your hands to how to position your legs, shoulders, chin and even your fingertips. I’ll tell you what to do with your face.
You don't have to practice poses in the mirror before you come in.
You just have to show up. That’s all.
Professional hair and makeup is part of the experience
Every Chicago Boudoir Photography session includes professional hair and makeup.
You can choose a look that feels natural and still looks like you, or go full glam. Our professional makeup artists customize the look for each woman. Airbrush foundation and faux lashes are always included.
For many women, this is the moment when the nerves start disappearing.
You get to sit down, relax and be taken care of before I ever pick up the camera.

I’ve photographed women in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond.
I’ve photographed women who love lingerie and women who bought their first lingerie piece for this photoshoot.
I’ve photographed women celebrating their bodies and women working on making peace with them.
Boudoir isn't about becoming someone else for a few hours.

Your experience includes professional hair and makeup, expert posing guidance throughout your session and professional retouching. After your shoot, you'll have the opportunity to see your images and choose your favorites.
