This is Boudoir.

At first, it’s a bit hard to see what you’re looking at in this photo.

But if you start by looking in the top left, you will see my clear framed reading glasses perched on top of my head.

Then you’ll see an outline of my hair, forehead, nose and lips.

Under my chin is the back of my left hand and a piece of my hair.

Then you’ll see my right hand dropping down and touching my knee.

Sitting next to me on the black bed is a woman mimicking my pose.

She is sitting with her right hand bent like mine.

She is holding a lace robe up to her chest with her left hand.

This is a photo of me and a woman during her boudoir photoshoot at my studio.

This is what I do as a boudoir photographer.

I demonstrate exactly how to pose. What to do with your hands and with your face.

But it’s more than that.

During a photoshoot with me, I will sit with you in your moment of vulnerability.

I’ll be right there with you.

I will laugh with you.

I will cry with you.

I will show you just how truly beautiful and valuable you are.

I will make it feel natural and normal to celebrate your body.

Every woman has a story.

Every woman deserves to be documented.

This is why I am a boudoir boudoir photographer.

My business is boudoir, but my mission is to help women feel empowered in all areas of their lives.

This is boudoir.
