A boudoir photographer spills the beans about her OWN boudoir photoshoot!

Something I get asked all the time is this ... "Liz, have you done a boudoir photoshoot for YOURSELF?"

As you know, I run the Chicago Boudoir Photography studio and women trust me every day to take beautiful and vulnerable photos. I believe that the experience I provide at my studio allows women to feel confident in their own skin.

So it only seems natural to wonder if I have done the same for myself. And the answer is YES!! I've actually done many, many boudoir shoots for myself over the years.

Why do I do boudoir photoshoots with myself as the subject and not just the photographer behind the camera?

Here's why:

**The experience of being photographed is emboldening and empowering. I love that feeling and want to have it often!

**I love having photos of myself at different stages of my life.

**I love sharing new, fun photos of myself with my husband.

**Boudoir photoshoots are just so FUN so I want to keep doing it!

I was in Las Vegas for a few days for a photography conference and I took advantage of the opportunity to be photographed by one of my boudoir photographer friends in our hotel room. The final photos aren't ready yet, but I love this sneak peek that she sent me! I absolutely loved the rush of confidence that I felt after this shoot!! Boudoir never disappoints!
