Andrea's Boudoir Photoshoot at the Chicago Boudoir Photography Studio
“I had so much fun celebrating me!”
Andrea showed up at the Chicago Boudoir Photography studio with the cutest thing ever — a bag of Cheetos just for me! I admit, I have a tiny obsession with Cheetos, especially jalapeno Cheetos. I consider jalapeno Cheetos to be the greatest snack food of all time, perhaps the greatest food of all time. Thanks for thinking of me, Andrea! Cheetos are always an amazing way to start off your boudoir photo shoot experience!
Before here photoshoot, Andrea and I chatted a bit about her plans for the photo shoot. She came to create a gift for her husband but also to celebrate herself. She said, “Today is my day! I’m am celebrating me today!”
Here’s a photo of Andrea before and after getting her hair and makeup done. Professional hair and makeup is included with every shoot at the Chicago Boudoir Photography studio. Our beauty team will get you camera ready! Andrea chose a classic glamour look with a red lip. The dark liner and lashes enhanced the natural beauty of her gorgeous blue eyes!

Andrea brought several fun outfits to be photographed in, including a beautiful teal babydoll with a lace bra, a Cubs jersey and a piece of black shapewear with thigh-high stockings. She also borrowed our luxe pink robe and red soled shoes from the studio to wear. We had so much fun during Andrea’s shoot. Check out some behind-the-scenes images from Andrea’s shoot here:
Andrea was nervous about doing a boudoir photo shoot because she’s on a weight loss journey but she’s not to her goal weight quite yet. But she was ready to celebrate where she’s at right now. And I’m so glad that she came in when she did. Andrea has been working super hard and deserves to feel beautiful and celebrated TODAY, not in some future version of herself when she’ll be a “better” version of herself.
Here are some of my favorite images from Andrea’s shoot. Isn’t she stunning?!
Andrea picked out a little black book with her boudoir images printed inside. When she saw the album for the first time, she said, “Who’s this?!” and then “I’ll definitely be back!”

Here’s what Andrea had to say about her photo shoot experience at the Chicago Boudoir Photography studio:
What was your main reason for booking a boudoir shoot?: To feel good about myself. I have been losing weight. Trying really hard. Wanted to celebrate my hard work.
What was your biggest fear before or during your boudoir shoot?: I wouldn't look good in my pictures. I still have a lot to lose.
How did the shoot turn out? / Tell us your favorite part about your boudoir shoot experience.: It was SO MUCH FUN. I plan on doing it again when I get to my weight loss goal. Liz was great. I felt like I got to know her over the months of watching her Facebook page. i felt so comfortable. And this is TOTALLY out of my comfort zone
Did you give your boudoir photos as a gift? How have you enjoyed your photos since the shoot?: They are for my husband.......and me too.
Is there anything else you'd like to share? / Is there anything we can improve?: Don't be nervous. Celebrate yourself!
I had such a fun time with you at the studio, Andrea! I hope that you’ll come back again soon so that we can hang out again! xo Liz
