Hair and Makeup at Chicago Boudoir Photography Studio

Does my session include hair and makeup services?
Yes, professional hair and makeup are part of every boudoir session! Our beauty experts will pamper you and get you camera-ready, leaving you feeling confident and glam. Check out our before-and-after gallery for inspiration!

Will your beauty team work with all skin tones?
Yes! Our beauty team is skilled in working with all skin tones, ensuring you look stunning no matter your complexion. Every woman deserves to feel beautiful, and we’re here to make that happen!

Can I get a discount for opting out of hair and makeup services?
Unfortunately, hair and makeup services are included with your session, so there’s no discount for not using them. We believe you’ll feel amazing once you see the results of professional styling!

I have short hair. Can I still do boudoir photos?
Absolutely! A pixie cut or short hairstyle can look amazing in boudoir photos. Our team specializes in making sure your unique hairstyle looks great in front of the camera, no matter the length!

Can I wear hair extensions for my boudoir session?
Yes, of course! Hair extensions can add fullness and length, creating a stunning look. Tape-in and sew-in extensions will both work perfectly for your boudoir photoshoot.

Can I bring a wig to the studio?
Yes, wigs are welcome! Just make sure your wig is made of 100% human hair for heat styling. Synthetic wigs can’t handle heat tools and might not style as expected.

Does the makeup include false lashes and airbrush?
Yes! We use both faux lashes and airbrush makeup to ensure you look flawless on camera. Faux lashes add the perfect touch to your eyes, especially when we shoot with eyes closed. The airbrush technique gives you a smooth, even finish.

What is the signature look for hair and makeup?
Our signature boudoir look features a smokey eye, eyeliner, false lashes, sun-kissed cheeks, and a vibrant lip—typically pink or red. However, we’ll adjust it to your preferences to highlight your natural beauty.

Can I go for a more natural makeup look?
Yes! We’re happy to create a natural, understated look for your boudoir session. Keep in mind, we’ll need to use slightly more makeup than usual so that it shows up beautifully under the studio lighting.

What if I want a bold, glam look?
We love a dramatic look! If you want something bold, we can go for darker eyes, a striking red lip, and voluminous hair—just let us know!

Can I change my hair and makeup look during the shoot?
Yes, you can absolutely change your look! Just reach out ahead of time to add extra time for hair and makeup changes. A quick heads-up (at least 7 days in advance) is needed to plan accordingly.
