Who will be my boudoir photographer?
Hi! I’m Liz Hansen, founder and photographer of Chicago Boudoir Photography. It’s my joy to help women see themselves in a whole new light.
How did you get started in boudoir?
I was already an established photographer when I discovered boudoir. After working at a high-end boudoir studio, I realized how much I loved watching women walk away feeling confident and powerful. So I opened my own studio in Winnetka, renovated the space from the ground up, and built Chicago Boudoir Photography with women’s empowerment at the center.
How long have you been doing photography?
I’ve been a professional since 2011, and I’ve focused solely on boudoir since 2015.
How many women have you photographed?
Over 2,000 women and counting!
What inspires you about this work?
Every woman deserves to feel sexy, radiant, and unstoppable. I love being a part of that journey—and creating images that capture it forever.
Have you done a boudoir shoot yourself?
Yes, many! I love the experience and the energy it gives me. My husband’s favorite gift ever? The boudoir album I surprised him with!
