The Woman Behind the Camera at Chicago Boudoir
Who will be my boudoir photographer?
I’m Liz Hansen, and I’ll be your photographer at the Chicago Boudoir Photography Studio. I’m also the founder and creative heart behind the studio. I’m so glad you’re here!
How did you get into boudoir?
My photography journey began with family and wedding photography. After years of working in that space, I was offered a position at a luxury boudoir studio—and I immediately fell in love with the way it helped women feel powerful. When that studio moved, I decided to open my own and built out a beautiful commercial space in Winnetka. This studio was designed specifically to help women feel confident, gorgeous, and celebrated. I truly feel privileged every time someone steps in front of my camera.
How long have you been a professional photographer?
I’ve been photographing professionally since 2011 and focusing exclusively on boudoir since 2015.
How many women have you worked with?
More than 2,000 women have trusted me with their boudoir sessions—and I’m incredibly grateful for each one.
What’s your favorite part of this job?
Watching someone go from nervous to glowing with confidence. Boudoir is more than just beautiful pictures—it’s a transformational experience.
Have you ever done a boudoir session yourself?
Absolutely! I’ve done several. Each one made me feel free, sexy, and empowered. And the album I gave my husband? Hands-down his favorite gift.
