The magic of boudoir photography

I became a boudoir photographer on accident. I had been a stay-at-home-mom for 7 years and really needed to get back into the job market. I got rejected for dozens of jobs that I applied for. Even with a masters degree, it was hard getting back into the workforce after such a long break. I finally landed a part-time job answering the phones at a boudoir studio. I didn't even know what boudoir was, but I decided to take a leap. The owner of that studio was very good to me and I loved working there.

A few years later, I took another big leap and opened my own boudoir business and I have loved every minute of it. I have been a boudoir photographer for almost a decade and the magic of it has still not worn off. It is still so incredible to me to have women come to the studio and trust me to capture their beauty in such an intimate way.

Yesterday was no exception to the boudoir magic - I had such a fun time in the studio with this gorgeous gal!! Thank you for trusting me with your photoshoot!
