Building Confidence at Illinois Boudoir Photo Studio

I always ask my clients what their main reason is for coming in for their boudoir photoshoot at Chicago Boudoir—I get all kinds of responses! Maybe it is celebrating an accomplishment like losing weight or graduating from a masters program. Sometimes it is for an upcoming wedding, anniversary or Valentine’s gift. Or maybe it is a beautiful maternity boudoir session to welcome a new little one into the world. But I would say the most common response I get to this question is that they are wanting to boost of build their confidence.

Self confidence is so important in a world saturated with loud opinions on who you should be. But it can be hard to find! So how can you build your self confidence? Here are a few simple ideas:

  1. Get a hobby. This may sound simple but investing time into what you love can help you feel confident in something that you are good at.

  2. Notice the things you have already achieved. Instead of looking at all the things you want to do, stop and think about all you have already accomplished. This list may surprise you!

  3. Do a Boudoir Photoshoot! Now I may be biased but I think one of the best ways to build confidence is to step outside of your comfort zone and nothing does that quite like a boudoir photoshoot! It is a moment all about YOU to feel empowered in a way you have never experienced before.
