Bridal Boudoir Photoshoot at Chicago Boudoir Studio
One of the best parts of running my boudoir photography studio here in Chicago is working with brides! Of course there are multiple reasons to come in for a boudoir photoshoot, but one of the most popular reasons is for an upcoming wedding!
So what is bridal boudoir and how is it different than a typical boudoir photoshoot?
A bridal boudoir photoshoot takes all of the aspects of a fabulous boudoir photoshoot and adds a fun sprinkle of bridal beauty to it. Whether it is a veil, a garter, delicate white lace lingerie, bridal shoes or pearls, there are many ways a bride can bring in a special bridal touch to her boudoir photos.
But a bridal boudoir photoshoot doesn’t have to be all about the white! Here at Chicago Boudoir, each client can do up to 3 different outfits for her shoot, resulting in a variety of looks. This is a great opportunity for a bride to do one very bridal look and then have some fun with dark and moody looks or fun, vibrant lingerie colors too!
What ever a bride chooses to wear, a boudoir photoshoot is a great way to remember a special new chapter of life. What was your main reason for booking a boudoir shoot?: I’ve always wanted to do a photo shoot like this and since I was getting married, it felt like the perfect time! I used the book I ordered as a present for my now husband but it was also a gift to myself!
What was your biggest fear before or during your boudoir shoot?: Before the shoot, I was worried that I would look awkward or not like how I looked in the photos. Once I was in the studio though, you did an excellent job making me feel comfortable and confident!
How did the shoot turn out? / Tell us your favorite part about your boudoir shoot experience.: It was amazing! I will recommend you to anyone that I know looking to do this type or shoot. I loved getting hair and make up done and then seeing the pictures that same day!
