"I wanted to get my husband a nice gift!"

Is it just me or are men SO difficult to buy a gift for? In the many years that I have been running my boudoir photography studio I have heard women talk about this same complaint!—and I agree!

Putting men aside though, it can feel like a lot of pressure giving “the perfect gift” to anyone you care about! I think we create this pressure for ourselves because we somehow want this gift to convey how we truly feel about this person. We also want to give them something they will love AND it is an added bonus when it is a complete surprise or something they never saw coming.

I love how a boudoir photoshoot can be that “perfect gift” my clients are looking for. And I love that I get to help women create something personal to them and their loved one. This might look like fun props added to a shoot that represent something about their relationship, or it is how we work together to design a custom album book that is unique to them.

So the next time you are stuck trying to find that perfect gift for someone special in your life, give a boudoir photoshoot a try!

Take a look at what one of my clients said about coming to the studio to create a gift for her husband:

What was your main reason for booking a boudoir shoot?: I wanted to get my husband a nice gift.

What was your biggest fear before or during your boudoir shoot?: Being the center of attention was hard and even more hard to wear so little in front of a camera!

How did the shoot turn out? / Tell us your favorite part about your boudoir shoot experience.: It was fun and I was guided every step of the way!

Did you give your boudoir photos as a gift? How have you enjoyed your photos since the shoot?: Both my husband and I enjoy looking at them and I have created a photo book and prints from the digital collection that I purchased.
