Little White Lies
Do you believe it’s ok to lie?
What about a teeny tiny white lie?
Let’s say you’re planning a boudoir photoshoot.
And let’s say that you want to give the boudoir album to someone special in your life.
And let’s say that you want to keep this boudoir photoshoot and album a surprise from that special someone.
Then you might have to come up with a little white lie about where you’re going and what you’re doing. And why you’re coming home with your hair and makeup done. Am I right?
I’m not saying that I’m endorsing lying.
But if you need a little white lie so that you can get out of the house and keep your boudoir photoshoot a secret from your partner, here are my top tips:
If someone asks why you are packing up a bag full of lingerie, just say that you’re taking it to the dry cleaner. Lingerie requires special cleaning, right?
If someone wants to know why you came home looking so fabulous today? Say that you went to the mall to return something and there was a booth there doing free makeovers. You decided to stop and check it out!
If you involve a third party in your white lie, for example: “My friend Krista needs a model for cosmetology school and I volunteered for a makeover,” be sure to tell Krista about this! You never know when this might come up in conversation and she needs to be in on the lie too.
If you need to keep the boudoir album purchase a secret, consider using cash or a Visa gift card.
Does this sound like something you’d like to pull off? Would your partner be blown away by a surprise gift? We would love to pamper you for a day at Chicago Boudoir Photography for your own boudoir photoshoot!
