Chicago Boudoir Photography Featured on the Podcast "Audrey Off the Cuff"

You never know where a brief conversation with a stranger may take you!

A couple of years ago, I was at a clothing boutique near my house. I came out of the dressing room wearing a button down shirt and a blazer and I wasn’t sure if they worked together. I saw a woman standing nearby and randomly asked her, “What do you think?” She immediately showed interest and said, “It looks great, but it needs some jewelry.” She walked me over to the jewelry counter and helped me pick out some earrings and bracelets. I bought the items that she suggested and I still love them! But more importantly, we stuck up a deeper conversation and a friendship. Her name is Audrey Grunst and I am so glad that I met her. She is a therapist and the founder of Simply Bee Counseling. She describes her business on her website like this:

Simply Bee is a mental wellness center that focuses on the whole person. Services include therapy, nutrition, exercise, community education and events for males and females of all ages. Our efforts support the fundamental belief that mental health is wellness. In 2019 our practice had the honor of serving over 200 people a week in our office and in 2020 we expanded our Simply Bee Classroom Program to assist school's Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum requirements. We are eager to disrupt the stigma of mental health and provide hope and light for those who want to feel their best.

I was honored when Audrey asked to interview me on her podcast called “Audrey Off the Cuff.” We talked about why I shoot boudoir, what it’s like to be a female business owner and how to find your niche in business. Thanks so much for having me on the podcast, Audrey! I hope you enjoy listening to the interview.
