Marla’s birthday photoshoot at Chicago Boudoir Photography
“I can’t wait to do this again and again!”
Marla is a mom and a business woman. She came to the Chicago Boudoir Photography studio for a boudoir photoshoot on her birthday to celebrate! She was apprehensive when she first walked into the studio, but her nerves quickly gave way to excitement. By the end of the shoot, Marla was talking about coming back to do it all over again!
For her hair and makeup look, Marla wanted to look sexy but natural. The makeup artist used airbursh foundation and blush, a false lash, dark liner and a pink lip to give her just the look she was going for.

And here’s a clip of Marla seeing her hair and makeup look for the first time. At first she was scared to see her look, but quickly that turned into, “This fits! It totally fits! It’s fantastic.”
Here’s a “before and after” photo of Marla. I think you can see how tense she is in the “before” picture. But she loosened right up once we got started!
Marla brought fabulous outfits and accessories to be photographed in, including a Blackhawks jersey, an Elvis purse, a form-fitting black lace dress, and a black lace corset and panty set. Despite having never done something like this before, Marla was an absolute natural in front of the camera. I didn’t even have to give her much direction because she was just able to “work it!” We had so much fun together in the studio for her shoot! Here are some of Marla’s favorite images from her shoot:
When we were done shooting, Marla put her signature on the board - that means she’s now a part of the sisterhood of women who have done a boudoir photoshoot at the Chicago Boudoir Photography studio!
The day after her photoshoot, I got this message from Marla:
Everything about yesterday was absolutely amazing!! You are AMAZING!! I appreciate what you do, and how you make others feel!! You are SO fun and SO inviting!! I am so happy that we are friends now!! Thank you for having me in your studio! Such a memorable birthday for me! I can't wait to come back!
Marla chose a beautiful 10 inch album with a black leather cover plus a digital download of her images from her photoshoot. She wanted a tangible way to enjoy her photos as well has having them on her phone and computer.
