Heidi is a successful business woman with buckets of energy. She loves staying fit and healthy. She came to the Chicago Boudoir Photography studio to celebrate her journey - where she’s been and more importantly, where she’s headed in the future. Heidi knew that taking these boudoir photos would be a step in her healing process from past trauma.

The first part of Heidi’s boudoir photoshoot was a makeover! All of the photoshoots at the Chicago Boudoir Photography studio include professional makeup and hair styling. Heidi saw her look in a mirror when it was ready and she almost couldn’t contain herself! Here is a video clip of Heidi seeing her hair and makeup look for the first time:

Heidi was so fun and easy to work with. She gave me almost complete creative control over her shoot by telling me, “Just do your thing!”

Here are some behind-the-scenes photos of Heidi during her boudoir photoshoot. We had such a fun time together! Heidi was a natural in front of the camera and open to trying all kinds of sets and poses.

Right after we were done shooting, Heidi signed the BOUDOIR BOARD. Next, she viewed a slideshow of her images and picked her favorites for her boudoir album.

Heidi picked out a luxurious red velvet cover for her 10 inch boudoir album and a digital download of her images in color and black & white. Some people think that it will be hard to design their boudoir album, but I have a system that helps you select your favorite images and design all of your boudoir photo products while you are still at the studio. I also have samples of all of the products at the studio that you can see and touch before you order.

Before Heidi left the studio, I interviewed her for a minute about her experience at the Chicago Boudoir Photography studio. Here’s what she had to say:

What was your biggest fear before you came in for your boudoir photoshoot?

I think it was the preparation, knowing what to wear, how is this all going to look?  I was really concerned about not forgetting anything at home, making sure that I had it all together.  I was nervous just about how this was all going to play out because I didn’t know about posing.

What did you think about your hair and makeup look?

OH MY GOSH! Oh wow, I don’t think that words can describe how good my hair and makeup was.  Rosie is amazing and talented. I feel so beautiful right now! I feel like a diva goddess right now!

What did you think when you saw your pictures?

I was blown away!  You have to come here and do a boudoir shoot!  You have to! It really does change your life and boosts your confidence. After your photoshoot, you are going to feel like you can conquer anything and like you are invincible!  Liz is amazing and so talented. Words cannot describe how beautiful of an experience I had here with Liz. She is the real deal. She is a miracle worker. She is a goddess!  She is a magician.  She just makes everything work.  And seriously, you will come out feeling so confident.  You will be a different person when you leave.  You feel like you can do anything, conquer the world! Anything is possible!

Liz’s work is just magic and I look at these photos pretty much every day just to remind myself of the inner beauty that’s coming from these pictures. 

Liz really brings out the beauty in every woman, so if you guys are thinking about doing this, I highly highly highly recommend doing a boudoir photo shoot with Liz! 

I’m already planning my second boudoir photo shoot hopefully it will be in 2021. I really, really highly suggest doing this because this has to be one of the most life-changing experiences that I’ve ever had!
